Max Q Systems maintains a large enventory of equipment and tools to aid in the inspection of our manufacturing processes.
Inspection starts when we receive the components we order. From there, inspection points occur throughout the manufacturing process according to customer input. Our basic inspection points occur at
pre-assembly
assembly (prior to solder)
solder
post-assembly
Handheld magnifying lenses, UV lamps, microscopes, and calipers are some of the tools in our arsenal.
We have recently acquired a digital microscope that allows us to capture video or static images during detailed quality control examination of electronic components. This equipment also allows us to quickly and efficiently identify areas of concern, offers ease of view to the operator, and the opportunity to provide our customers records of our inspections.
The Digital Scope (seen in videos above and below) will augment our current fleet of American Optical Stereo Star Microscopes. Although they're not digital, they do boast 0.7x to 3.0 x magnification.
