About Max Q Systems

What does Max Q mean?

In short, the term 'max q' means peak efficiency. It refers to the realization of the highest point of efficiency obtainable in a system - when all aspects are working at maximum performance. During a Space Shuttle launch, mission control will communicate to the crew when 'max q' has been reached.

At Max Q Systems, we strive to live up to our name every day. Our own system - of people, procedures and materials - blends it's different elements together seamlessly to create, produce and deliver products and/or services to our clients. We are committed to our customers' requirements for reliability and safety, as well as critical shipping deadlines.


Our History and Experience
Max Q Systems, Inc. was founded by our President, Fred Mosher, in 1981. Since then, the company has grown considerably. We have kept our performance standards high by controlling our growth and maintaining a select team of highly skilled engineers, software specialists, and technicians, each with his or her own area(s) of expertise. We have benefited from more than 25 years experience in in this industry.

Our engineering team has designed products for several different fields including aerospace, automotive, medical, optical, personal protection and security. In some cases, we are designing third and fourth generation systems for our customers.

Our President holds two patents with several pending. We can obtain Underwriters Laboratory approval and meet the regulatory standards of OSHA, CE and FM.


Products and Services
All of our engineering, development, management, laboratory and production facilities are housed at our Orange County location. We have state-of-the-art computer modeling and analysis capabilities for electronic and mechanical systems, multiple PC-based development systems and a fully integrated computer-aided design system. Our production facility includes component prepping equipment, automated PCB assembly stations, flow solder equipment, and aqueous cleaners. We also maintain a complete production test facility. With this equipment and other production equipment we are able to provide our customers with significant manufacturing capabilities.
